Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz are celebrating a major milestone in their relationship—15 years of marriage—with heartfelt tributes and glimpses into their journey together.
On Thursday, July 31, the couple marked their anniversary by sharing never-before-seen photos of one another. Swizz Beatz went a step further, adding a touching voiceover to a montage featuring moments with his wife and their two sons, Egypt, 14, and Genesis, 10.
“Wow, 15 years of love. Fifteen years of fun. Fifteen years of best friends. Fifteen years of beautiful kids,” Swizz said in the voiceover. “Fifteen years of traveling. Fifteen years of the white side. Fifteen years of growth. Fifteen years of love. Fifteen years of passion. Fifteen years of art.”
By the end of the montage, Swizz reflected on how quickly time has flown.
“Fifteen years of wow, just wow,” he continued. “Fifteen years feels like five. That’s crazy–when 15 years feels like five. Happy anniversary, my love. We’ve spent so much time having fun that 15 years feels like five. And we’re just starting.”
Swizz also praised Keys as being “ultra-amazing.” Meanwhile, Alicia Keys shared a carousel of joyful photos from a recent celebration, paired with a poetic tribute calling their relationship “sublime” and “devoted.”
“15 years of magic!! ✨✨✨ And we’re just getting started 🥰” she concluded.
Throughout the years, the couple—known for keeping their bond strong and steady—has spoken openly about the foundation of their relationship. One of their most admired traits is their insistence that they’ve never argued.
“Marriage is definitely a big word, but look at it like your best friend,” Swizz told Us Weekly in March. “The communication is there. We’ve never had an argument. Since we’ve been together, our kids [have] never seen it; never seen us raise our voice [or] never seen us yell. Never seen us curse at each other. Why? Because of communication.”
Swizz Beatz was previously married to singer Mashonda, with whom he shares 18-year-old son Kasseem Dean Jr. He also has a 24-year-old son, Prince, and a 17-year-old daughter, Nicole, from earlier relationships.
