Dangote Refinery Reduces Petrol Price to N865/Litre Amid Renewed Naira-for-Crude Policy Push

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, from ₦850 to ₦820 per litre, effective August 12, 2025.

In a statement, the refinery said the price adjustment aims to ease the burden on Nigerians and stimulate economic growth. The new price reflects the ex-depot rate, meaning it is the price before additional distribution and retail costs are added.
