Controversial comedian Deeone has taken a swipe at activist Verydarkman (VDM), accusing him of lying about his relationship with Afrobeats superstar Davido.
The drama began after Verydarkman claimed he had never received a dime from Davido, insisting that his trip to Lagos was entirely self-sponsored, including the hotel room he stayed in.
However, Deeone countered the activist’s claim by digging up and posting an old video in which VDM clearly stated that Davido had booked a hotel room for him. In the clip, Verydarkman is heard saying:
“See the sweet room wey Davido book for me.”
Sharing the video online, Deeone questioned VDM’s credibility, asking:
“Can a liar ever have integrity?”
