Fido Warns Artists About Exploitative Marketing Firms, Alleges Unfair Practices

Afrofusion rising star Fido, 27, has opened up about the alleged exploitation he faced from his former record label and management.

The singer claimed that despite receiving a $20,000 advance, the team kept about 95% of the funds, leaving him with just ₦1.5 million.

According to Fido, he had always been transparent with them about his finances, even while still signed, but the management still withheld the bulk of his money.

“I was transparent with them even when I was still with them, but they took all my advance from me… they gave me just ₦1.5 million out of $20,000,” he said, adding that he has evidence to back his claims.
