Nigerian vlogger Grace Ajilore has shared her thoughts on manipulation, stressing that no one can truly be controlled unless they allow it.
According to the content creator, people only become vulnerable to manipulation when they are desperate for approval, friendship, or validation.
“If you’re not desperate for their approval, they cannot manipulate you. If you’re not desperate, you’re not hungry, you’re not starving, they cannot manipulate you,” she said.
Ajilore explained that confidence and self-assurance make a person “unmanipulatable in every way, shape and form.” She added that those who are not desperate for acceptance or to belong in a particular space can easily walk away without being controlled.
