Veteran Nigerian producer, Don Jazzy, has expressed excitement over his production credits in the recently unveiled Billboard’s Top 50 ‘Best Afrobeats Songs of All-Time’ list.
Don Jazzy and his former collaborators D’banj, Wande Coal, and Tiwa Savage each secured two entries on the prestigious list.
Reacting via his X handle, the Mavin Records boss revealed that he produced six of the selected songs. He wrote, “Inside the 50 I sha produced 6. I try Abi I no try.”
His production credits include Wande Coal’s ‘Bumper 2 Bumper’ and ‘Kiss Your Hand,’ D’banj’s ‘Oliver Twist’ and ‘Fall In Love,’ as well as Tiwa Savage’s ‘Eminado’ and ‘Dorobucci.’
With six entries, Don Jazzy stands out as the Afrobeats producer with the most production credits on the list.
