Jimmie Allen Found Liable in Las Vegas Sexual Assault Case

Jimmie Allen

Jimmie Allen has been judged liable for sexually assaulting and secretly filming a woman in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2022.

The country singer, once considered a rising star, had denied the allegations but lost his right to defend himself after repeatedly ignoring court-imposed deadlines and orders in the lawsuit.

According to Billboard, a Tennessee federal court ruled on 18 August that the Best Shot singer was liable by default for battery, assault, invasion of privacy, and infliction of emotional distress.

The claims had been set for trial this summer, but Jimmie Allen’s repeated non-compliance with court directives led to an early judgment.

“The defendants throughout have failed to comply with case management discovery deadlines and even failed to comply with specific orders of this court,” the judge wrote.

“For these reasons, the plaintiff’s motion for sanctions and judgment against defendants Jimmie Allen and Aadyn’s Dad Touring Inc. is granted.”

Aadyn’s Dad Touring, Allen’s touring company, employed his bodyguard, Charles Hurd, who allegedly assisted the singer in pursuing the woman at the center of the case.

The plaintiff’s legal team can now seek financial damages.

This case is one of two civil sexual assault lawsuits filed against Jimmie Allen in 2023, effectively halting his once-promising career. Following the allegations, he was dropped by his record label BBR Music Group, along with his booking agency, management company, and publicist.
