Judge Orders Return of Young Thug’s Seized Property After Plea Deal

Young Thug Is Sentenced 40 years In YSL RICO Case

A judge has ordered that property belonging to rapper Young Thug be returned following his acceptance of a plea deal in his racketeering case.

Among the items to be returned are three Mercedes, a Lamborghini, and a large sum of cash, all of which were seized during what became the longest criminal trial in Georgia’s history.

One of Young Thug’s attorneys, Brian Steel, argued that Jeffery Williams – the rapper’s real name – should have all of his belongings back, including jewellery, cars, and other items that prosecutors had claimed were tied to “criminal activity” in connection with the case.

Fulton County Judge Paige Whitaker ruled in favor of the motion to dismiss, granting Williams control of his possessions once again.

Young Thug accepted a plea deal in the racketeering case, pleading guilty to the charges. The agreement included a 40-year sentence, with five years to be served in jail, which was commuted to time served, along with 15 years of probation, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The property being returned to him includes $149,426 in cash, a 2022 Chevrolet Corvette, a 2022 Porsche 911, a 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLS Maybach, a white 2021 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT, a grey 2021 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT, a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, a 2021 Dodge Durango, a 2018 Lamborghini Aventador, a 2015 Can-Am Spyder, and assorted jewellery.
