RHOD’s Jojo Robinson Shares Update on Husband Calven’s Eyebrow Surgery: ‘I Can See More Now’

RHOD’s Jojo Robinson Shares Update on Husband Calven’s Eyebrow Surgery: ‘I Can See More Now’

Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) star Jojo Robinson is giving fans a candid look into her husband’s journey with cosmetic surgery. Her husband, Calven Robinson, affectionately known as Boo Bear, recently underwent eyebrow surgery — and the results have had both cosmetic and medical benefits.

Why Boo Bear Got Eyebrow Surgery

Jojo took to Instagram Stories to reveal that the surgery wasn’t just about enhancing Calven’s appearance. According to her, Boo Bear had been experiencing discomfort due to his lashes growing downward into his eyes.

“Before, you couldn’t even see Boo Bear’s lashes. His lashes were actually going into his eyes, scratching and hurting him,” Jojo explained.

Now in recovery, Calven says the procedure has had an unexpected bonus: improved vision.

“I can’t believe how much more I can see now. It’s like the picture frame got bigger all of a sudden,” he shared.

The surgery appears to have involved a brow lift or eyebrow transplant, both commonly used to reshape the brow area and lift sagging skin.

Not Calven’s First Cosmetic Procedure

According to The Citizen, this is not Boo Bear’s first cosmetic enhancement. In 2023, Jojo revealed on RHODurban that he previously underwent a facial tightening procedure.

Jojo, known for her openness about plastic surgery, has often spoken about her own transformation since joining RHOD in 2022.

Jojo Robinson’s History with Cosmetic Enhancements

In a candid interview with Carol Ofori on East Coast Radio, Jojo admitted to undergoing more than 20 cosmetic procedures, with six or seven classified as major surgeries.

“I don’t think I can count… I would literally have to sit and go through them. But altogether, maybe 20-plus,” she said.

She recalled her first cosmetic procedure as a breast augmentation, where implants were inserted without a lift:

“They just cut under the boob, they didn’t do the lift, they just put the boobs in.”
