Chicago rapper King Yella sparked worry among fans after collapsing mid-interview with Cam Capone News. The incident occurred while he was being asked about Tory Lanez’s prison stabbing.
King Yella, who had been drinking Crown Royal during the conversation, took a final sip before suddenly pounding his chest and yelling, “What the f***.” Moments later, he fell backward out of his chair, prompting people on set to rush to his aid.
The exact cause of the collapse remains unclear, but clips of the moment quickly circulated on Instagram, drawing concerned reactions from viewers. “Gotta take better care of himself,” one commenter wrote, while another reminded, “Your health is your wealth.”
Although King Yella hasn’t given a detailed public update, he did address the incident on his Instagram Story, criticizing those who found it amusing.
“YALL THINK EVERYTHING A JOKE I HATE THE INTERNET,” he wrote. “YALL BE SO F*QED UP ON MY SOUL.”
This isn’t the first time the rapper’s wellbeing has been questioned. Last year, he openly admitted to being addicted to cocaine, saying,“I’m coke, I’m a f*cking cokehead. So what?” and calling for help to kick the habit, though it remains unknown if he ever sought treatment.
