Nigerian singer Keshinro Ololade, popularly known as Lil Kesh, has reassured fans of his safety following reports that he was robbed and stabbed during an attack in Lagos.
On Wednesday, multiple reports alleged that the Shoki crooner was ambushed by assailants who carted away jewelry worth millions of naira, leaving him with a stab wound to the neck. According to Hip TV, the artist narrowly escaped death in the incident.
Breaking his silence on Thursday, Lil Kesh took to X (formerly Twitter) to share an update with his fans:
“Life threw me a curveball, but I’m safe, healing, and blessed to be here. Grateful for the love, support and prayers.”
The news has sparked widespread concern across the entertainment industry, with fans and colleagues sending in their well-wishes and prayers for his quick recovery.
As of now, authorities have not released an official statement regarding the reported robbery.
