Former Big Brother Naija housemate Pere Egbi has called on the show’s organizers to issue disqualifications following multiple altercations in the house — some involving physical fights and even threats of violence.

Pere voiced his concerns on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, after several heated confrontations erupted among housemates, reportedly over chicken.

“People must chop disqualification for this house. At least one. How will you fight over chicken???? Madness!!!!!!!” Pere wrote.

Housemates Clash Over Chicken

One of the most viral incidents occurred Thursday night when housemates Jason Jae and Victory engaged in a physical altercation after Victory allegedly picked up a piece of chicken that Jason had reserved. The confrontation quickly escalated into a scuffle, with both men falling to the ground before other housemates intervened.

Denari yelled, “You dey mad?? Are you a goat? You fit chop that thing wey you give me??” Otega fired back, “Am I Big Brother?”

Calls for Strikes Over Threats and Language Violations

Popular skit maker Steve Chuks also weighed in on the rising tension, criticizing housemate Imisi for violating show rules.

“Imisi suppose collect 2 strikes sha, the speaking of Yoruba and the threats that she will stab someone???? C’mon!!!” he tweeted.

Imisi had earlier threatened to stab fellow housemate Koyin with a fork, and also spoke Yoruba in the heat of their altercation — both of which are against BBNaija rules, which mandate the use of English only and prohibit threats or physical violence.
