Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo, and her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, have welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Rakeem.
The news was confirmed on Sunday when Iyabo Ojo took to Instagram, sharing a photo of herself with Priscilla and the newborn.
“Say hello to the latest sexiest grandma in town, my grandson is the cutest @rakeem_mk!” she wrote in celebration.
Actress Toyin Abraham also joined in the excitement, posting a congratulatory message on Instagram.
The couple, who officially tied the knot earlier this year, had recently hosted a gender reveal party in Tanzania where blue confetti confirmed they were expecting a boy.
Back in July, Priscilla and Juma announced their pregnancy with joint maternity photos, writing: “MOM & DAD ✨ BLESSED • GRATEFUL • THANKFUL.” Priscilla later clarified that they had married last year in a private Nikah ceremony before holding a public celebration for loved ones.
Friends and family, including Iyabo Ojo and actress Lola Alao, threw Priscilla a baby shower in Canada ahead of the arrival.
Juma Jux, born Juma Mkambala, is one of Tanzania’s biggest music stars and a fashion entrepreneur, while Priscilla has carved a path as a brand influencer and entrepreneur in her own right.
