The 39-year-old tennis legend and his wife, Mery Perello, 37, have welcomed their second child, a baby boy, on August 7 at the Quirónsalud Palmaplanas hospital in Palma, Mallorca, local media reports.
The couple, who are already parents to two-year-old Rafa, reportedly named their new son Miguel in honor of Mery’s late father, who passed away in April 2023 at the age of 63 after a long illness.
Nadal, who retired in 2024 after a glittering career that saw him claim 92 singles titles — including 22 Grand Slams — has kept the news private, with no official announcement yet from the family.
The couple also maintained a similar low profile when their first son was born, only confirming the pregnancy months before his arrival.
