“They Sold My Generators!” – Ayo Fayose Recounts Painful Loss After Amala Business Fails in Abuja

Isaac Fayose

Isaac Fayose, has revealed the heartbreaking reason behind the closure of his Amala restaurant business in Abuja, just five months after it opened.

According to Fayose, the restaurant was launched with pure intentions — to create employment and lift 50 people out of poverty. But things quickly spiraled out of control due to massive internal theft and betrayal by the very people he hired to help.

“My staff were stealing my money,” he said in a recent interview. “They even went as far as selling off two of my generators.”

Faced with mounting losses, Fayose said he eventually had to sell the entire business — but not without a silver lining.
