Hon. Natasha Osawaru, newlywed wife of Afrobeats icon 2Baba and legislator representing Egor Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, has bagged the Best Legislator Award at the 2025 National Leadership Awards in Abuja.
The award ceremony, held at the Nigerian Merit House in Maitama, celebrated the Edo-born lawmaker for her impact in women’s empowerment, education, healthcare, and youth development.
Sharing the news with her supporters, Natasha Osawaru dedicated the award to her constituents, pledging to remain steadfast in her service.
“I am deeply honoured to receive the Best Legislator Award at the 2025 National Leadership Awards. This recognition is for the people of Egor Constituency, Edo State, whose trust drives my commitment to women empowerment, education, healthcare, and youth development. Together, we rise!” she wrote.
Her latest achievement comes just weeks after her surprise wedding to 2Baba, which has kept the couple in the limelight. With her growing political influence and online buzz surrounding possible pregnancy rumours, Natasha continues to capture both political and entertainment circles.
