Human rights activist Aisha Yesufu has shared what she believes is the winning formula for Peter Obi, former Labour Party presidential candidate, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Yesufu said Obi’s chances of emerging as president depend on the ability of members of the Obidient Movement to deliver their wards during the polls.
Her comments came in response to a statement by the founder of the House of Love Church, Yinka Yusuf, who vowed to mobilize Nigerians to give Obi over 30 million votes in 2027.
Reacting via her X handle, Yesufu wrote:
“You see that last part. That is it! What are we individually and collectively doing to make Peter Obi win?
If we all deliver our wards and get him sworn in, then he can go and be doing the jaki work of fixing Nigeria. He likes work, so let’s give him the work.”
“Obi Has Structure”
Yesufu also pushed back against critics who claim Obi lacks political structure.
“First of all, if Peter Obi does not have structure, they will not say it. They will just be laughing and happy.
The fact that they are talking about it means they know it is there and powerful, and they want to gaslight people into believing there is none.”
