Arsenal returned from the international break in style with a convincing 3-0 win against Nottingham Forest in Saturday’s early Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners, eager to respond after their 1-0 defeat to Liverpool, controlled the game from the outset. Martin Zubimendi broke the deadlock with a well-taken volley before halftime.
Just moments into the second half, Eberechi Eze set up Viktor Gyokeres to extend Arsenal’s lead, putting the result firmly out of Forest’s reach. Zubimendi later completed his brace with a header from Leandro Trossard’s cross, sealing a dominant performance for Mikel Arteta’s side.
The win lifts Arsenal to the top of the Premier League table with nine points from four matches. However, Liverpool could reclaim the summit when they face Burnley on Sunday.
