X (formerly Twitter) erupted into chaos Monday night (September 29) as rap queens Cardi B and Nicki Minaj reignited their long-running feud with a barrage of insults.
But the drama didn’t stop there—an old audio of Cardi blasting Ice Spice while throwing shade at Latto resurfaced, sparking even more debate online.
In the clip, which fans say was not recorded recently, Cardi could be heard threatening to “pull up” on Ice Spice and “beat her a**,” while adding that she’s not a “p*ssy like Latto.”
The resurfacing caused an immediate stir, especially since Latto and Ice only recently squashed their differences to release their joint track ‘GYATT.’
Facing backlash, Cardi quickly clarified the situation with a public apology on X:
“I was ranting and hot at the moment but I fck with Latto HEAVY!! I respect everything about her including her team that’s so sweet.. AND NOPE! I’m not too prideful to apologize to somebody I really respect so this my public apology and now ima privately buy her a bag.”
Latto—who collaborated with Cardi on the ‘ErrTime’ remix—has yet to respond publicly, though fans believe the two remain on good terms.
As for Cardi and Nicki, their fiery back-and-forth shows no signs of cooling down, keeping the rap world glued to their screens.
