Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing fresh legal trouble as his former stylist, Deonte Nash, has filed a lawsuit accusing the music mogul of verbal, physical, and sexual abuse during his employment.
Nash, who worked for Combs between 2008 and 2018, had previously testified in the high-profile trial that saw Diddy convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The Bad Boy Records founder, however, was acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking charges.
In the new filing submitted in a California superior court this week, Nash alleged that Diddy subjected him to exploitative working conditions, forcing him to work overtime and style people in Combs’ inner circle without pay.
According to court documents, one alleged incident saw Diddy slam Nash against a car and “violently strangle him” after discovering Nash had gone to dinner with Combs’ then on-and-off girlfriend, Casandra Ventura.
In another alleged altercation, Diddy and his security team reportedly “chased Nash on a freeway at nearly 100 miles per hour” after violently pushing him out of Ventura’s apartment.
Nash claims he lived in fear after the incidents, stating he believed going to the police “would be a death sentence.”
Combs is yet to respond publicly to the fresh lawsuit.
