Nollywood actress Olaide Oyedeji has gotten candid about her journey into single motherhood, admitting that it was never part of her plans.
In a recent interview, the Germany-based star confessed that if anyone had told her she would end up with two baby daddies, she would never have believed it.
“I am a single mother by force and not by choice. If anyone had told me that I would have two baby daddies, I would have denied it,” she said.
Olaide went on to advise women not to give birth just to please a man or to prove loyalty in a relationship.
“There are many ways you can love someone without having a child for them. Don’t tie your destiny to giving birth just because you think you’re special to a man,” she warned.
Her honest confession has stirred reactions online, with many fans praising her for speaking openly about the realities of single motherhood.
This isn’t the first time the actress has shared her struggles. In January 2024, Olaide revealed why her relationship with her baby daddy ended, disclosing that she had endured five cesarean sections and even suffered the loss of a child.
She also admitted that following her breakup, she experienced the longest single phase of her life, a period that tested her strength and resilience.
