Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed why he chooses not to block members of Wizkid FC and other critics who hurl insults at him on social media.
The DMW boss, currently active on X (formerly Twitter), shared his stance on Friday, September 12, 2025, after engaging with a series of online trolls.
Recently, a user identified as @boy1oner called tje Dmw boss a “Mugu.” Rather than ignoring the insult, Davido clapped back, labeling the troll an “imbecile.”
In another instance, an X influencer named Seun, a Wizkid supporter, mocked him with the comment, “see person wey marry.” The singer fired back, saying, “U dey svck pr!ck gan.”
Another critic, @ONLY1EMIZO, attempted to undermine him with the tweet, “Na why dem no fit ever rate u for this industry🤣🤣.” Davido responded by insisting: “Me wey Dey give industry life.”
Explaining why he doesn’t block critics, the singer said he wants his detractors to witness his growth and “choke” on his success.
“Me I no Dey block … I wan make u Dey see my doings … but I go curse ur papa 😂,” Davido tweeted.
According to him, flaunting his achievements is his preferred way of “peppering” critics, while still reserving the right to lash out at them when provoked.
