Veteran Nollywood actress and evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi, has sent a strong message to women, urging them to stop believing that intimacy can secure a marriage proposal.
In a video shared on Instagram, the actress explained that no matter how long or adventurous private moments may be, they cannot compel a man to commit.
She likened such assumptions to the services of commercial sex workers, noting that if marriage were based on sexual performance, every sex worker would be happily married.
Quoting the Bible, Anunobi emphasized that only God can guide a man to choose his wife, adding that intimacy is not the foundation of a lasting union.
She said:
“No matter how adventurous or prolonged your bedroom performance is, it can never make a man marry you. Even if you perform snake in the monkey’s shadow, it will not secure a wedding ring. If marriage was about sexual skills, every sex worker would be happily married.
Only the Spirit of God can move a man to choose a wife. That is why Romans 12:2 says you must not conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by renewing your mind.”
Her message has since sparked conversations online about relationships, faith, and the pressures women face in their search for commitment.
