Influencer Saida Boj has called on billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote to take responsibility for the welfare of Ruth Otabor’s children, following the heartbreaking accident that claimed her life.
Ruth, the younger sister of Big Brother Naija star Phyna, died on Sunday after being hit by a Dangote truck near Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State earlier in August.
The incident, which left two children behind, has sparked public outrage and demands for accountability.
In a video shared on social media, Saida Boj appealed directly to Dangote, urging him to sponsor the children’s education or even adopt them as a show of remorse.
“I want to tell this to Dangote as a person. I feel that the least you can do is to train Ruth’s children through school and make sure they get good jobs after school. That is the only way to say sorry. This is a young girl who just finished school, who just finished serving, just crushed away by one of your drivers. In fact, you suppose adopt those children because their mother was taken away from them against their will.”
The influencer also expressed grief over the children’s future without their mother, stressing that no form of compensation could ever replace the love and care they lost.
