Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has successfully completed his medicals at Bundesliga side Werder Bremen, moving a step closer to finalising his transfer from Bayer Leverkusen.
The 24-year-old forward, who joined Leverkusen in 2023, played a pivotal role in their historic Bundesliga title-winning campaign, earning praise for his physical strength, intelligent link-up play, and sharp goalscoring instincts.
His switch to Bremen comes just days after a proposed move to AC Milan collapsed, leaving the German club well-placed to secure his services.
All that now remains are the final formalities before an official announcement is made, with confirmation expected in the coming days.
Boniface’s arrival at Werder Bremen would make him the latest Super Eagles star to remain in the Bundesliga, continuing his rise in European football.
