Executive Vice Chairman of Globacom, Bella Disu, has been conferred as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Directors (F.IoD), a recognition celebrating her outstanding leadership and contributions to Nigeria’s corporate sector.
Mrs. Disu announced the honour in an Instagram post on Saturday, sharing moments from the conferment ceremony held on October 9.
“Leadership is never about the moment; it’s about the mark we leave behind,” she wrote.
“On October 9, I was deeply honored to be conferred as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Directors (F.IoD). As I embrace this new chapter, I remain committed to leadership that endures—one defined by foresight, integrity, and meaningful contribution to both business and society.”
Bella Disu, daughter of Globacom founder Mike Adenuga, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Cobblestone Properties and Estates Limited and sits on the Board of Directors at Julius Berger Nigeria Plc.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and a Master’s degree in Leadership from Northeastern University, Boston.
Beyond her corporate roles, Disu is also passionate about philanthropy, actively supporting initiatives that promote education, entrepreneurship, and women’s empowerment.
