Cardi B is speaking candidly about the difficult ending of her marriage to Offset, revealing the emotional toll it took on her.
In a heartfelt interview on Jay Shetty’s ‘On Purpose’ podcast, Cardi reflected on the moment she realized her relationship was over.
“I felt the love dying. From my end, from his end,” she admitted, describing the heartbreak that followed months of tension.
The rapper shared the struggle of letting go and ceasing communication, which left her feeling drained. “I was crying every day, I was hurt every day,” she said.
Cardi also spoke about her pregnancy with her third child, Blossom, as a motivation to try and salvage her marriage. “I told myself I’m pregnant, I’m going to accept my flaws, the flaws that I bring in this marriage. I’m going apologize for it and I’m gonna work on it,” she explained.
However, she revealed that her efforts were not reciprocated. “When I take accountability and you take advantage of me taking accountability… it really just killed everything,” Cardi said.
Now, a year after the divorce, Cardi B says she is “the strongest I have ever been.”
With her new album ‘Am I The Drama’ and her fourth child with Stefon Diggs on the way, Cardi is looking ahead, embracing healing, growth, and new beginnings.
