Nigerian disc jockey and billionaire heiress DJ Cuppy has confessed that adjusting back to normal life after her sister Temi Otedola’s luxurious wedding has not been easy.
Taking to her social media page on Wednesday, the entertainer revealed that reality hit hard once the wedding festivities ended.
“It has been a tough reality check going back to normal life since Temi’s wedding,” she wrote.
“Ever since Temi got married, reality has started to set in for me. Going back to normal life feels tough.”
The 31-year-old further expressed nostalgia for the extravagant celebrations, adding, “Going back to reality after Temi’s wedding is hard. Take me back to Iceland.”
Cuppy, whose real name is Florence Otedola, is the daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola and the elder sister of actress and influencer Temi Otedola.
Temi tied the knot with singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, in a grand multi-destination ceremony held across Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland.
The civil wedding took place in Monaco in May, followed by a traditional Yoruba ceremony in Dubai in July, and a breathtaking white wedding in Reykjavík, Iceland, in August.
Temi stunned in designer pieces from Zac Posen, Lisa Folawiyo, Miss Sohee, and Fendi, while the Iceland reception featured a surprise performance by American singer John Legend.
Reports estimate that the Otedola-Ajibade wedding cost between $10 million and $15 million, attracting top celebrities and influential guests from across Africa and beyond.
Following the celebrations, Temi officially changed her surname to Ajibade, sparking conversations online about love, identity, and feminism.
