American singer Ciara, who is currently in Lagos for the Lagos Fashion Week, has expressed admiration for the city’s remarkable transformation.
Speaking during her visit, the Grammy-winning artist shared her excitement about being back in Nigeria’s commercial capital, noting the significant improvement in infrastructure and cleanliness since her last trip.
“I’m so happy to be here and I’m really glad. No, this is not my first time, I know about Lagos. When I used to land, I used to see dirty roads, now it’s all clean and it has changed,” she said.
Ciara’s remarks come amid widespread praise for the ongoing urban renewal and beautification projects in Lagos, which have drawn positive reactions from both residents and visitors alike
