Lily Allen and Stranger Things actor David Harbour have put their New York City townhouse on the market for $8 million (£6 million), less than a year after their separation.
The Brooklyn property’s listing comes as rumours of infidelity continue to swirl — a theme Allen appears to reference in her newly released album, West End Girl, which dropped last week.
The former couple, who separated in February after four years of marriage, had not listed the property for sale until Sunday, according to People magazine. The home, which was previously featured in the March 2023 issue of Architectural Digest, was originally purchased in 2021 for $3.4 million (£2.5 million).
Since acquiring the residence, the pair had completely renovated the five-bedroom, four-bathroom townhouse, giving it a distinct blend of modern and artistic charm that reflected both of their personalities.
In West End Girl, Lily Allen takes a candid lyrical approach, calling out a partner for mistreatment — though she has clarified that her songs mix reality and creativity.
Speaking to British Vogue, the Smile singer admitted that her marriage influenced the album’s writing process.
“There are things that are on the record that I experienced within my marriage, but that’s not to say that it’s all gospel,” she said. “It is inspired by what went on in the relationship.”
Some of the imagery for West End Girl appears to have been shot inside the Brooklyn home, adding a personal touch to the project as Allen closes one chapter of her life — both musically and personally.
