Jennifer Lopez’s first husband, Ojani Noa, has publicly accused the pop star of cheating during their marriage, launching into a fiery Instagram rant over the weekend in response to her recent comments about never having been truly loved.
The 49-year-old former waiter, who was married to Lopez for less than a year in the late 1990s, lashed out after the singer told The Howard Stern Show that her past partners “were not capable” of real love.
“You have been ‘loved’ a few times,” Noa wrote. “You’ve been married four times and had countless relationships in between. You’ve had good relationships… me for example.”
Noa claimed that he was deeply in love with the “On the Floor” hitmaker and had moved states to support her.
“I’m an amazing, loving person, great human being. Honest, faithful to you, never lied, never misbehaved, never cheated on you,” he said. “I was good to you. I’m too good of a man for you.”
The Cuban-born actor accused Lopez of choosing “fame and fortune” over their relationship, adding that she “lied and cheated” despite his efforts to keep their marriage intact.
“You wanted to continue cheating and lying. I couldn’t stay anymore and deal with the constant lies. That’s why I left you. That’s why I divorced you,” Noa wrote. “Tell the truth for once. Let people know you are the problem. You should be embarrassed, ashamed of yourself.”
Lopez and Noa met in 1996 at Gloria Estefan’s restaurant in Miami and tied the knot in February 1997. The marriage ended just 11 months later.
Despite their rocky history, Noa previously told Daily Mail in 2024 that he held “no bad feelings” toward his ex-wife, expressing sympathy for her then-ongoing divorce from actor Ben Affleck.
Lopez, now 56, has been married four times — to Noa, dancer Cris Judd (2001–2002), singer Marc Anthony (2004–2011), and actor Ben Affleck (2022–2025). She shares 17-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with Anthony.
During her Howard Stern interview, Lopez reflected on her past relationships, saying:
“It’s not that I’m not lovable — it’s that they’re not capable. They don’t have it in them. They gave me all they could — the houses, the rings, the marriages — but sometimes I didn’t love myself.”
The latest comments from both Lopez and Noa have reignited public interest in the singer’s romantic history, which has long been the subject of tabloid attention.
