“Why she no go street for Canada” – Nigerians React As Sarah Martins Shares Food to the Homeless in Canada Days After Arrest in Lagos

Sarah Martins Reveals She Gave Ex-Boyfriend Half Her Salary for Six Months

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has sparked reactions online after being spotted distributing food to homeless people in Canada, just days after her arrest in Lagos for cooking on a public road.

In a video shared on Tuesday, Sarah was seen handing out 150 packs of food to homeless individuals on the streets of Ottawa, where she is currently based.

Sharing the news on Instagram, the actress wrote:

“From going grocery shopping, to cooking with the CEO of @suyaroyale under the supervision of @ricci_products representatives, to sharing the sumptuous, well-spiced 150 packs of food with homeless people on the streets of Ottawa.”

The gesture quickly drew attention and mixed reactions from fans and social media users.

“So she can actually cook it in her house and pack it in bags to share? Meanwhile, she was constituting a nuisance by cooking on the streets of Lagos. Smh.”

@Nedumcity_ remarked:

“She should have done the cooking on the road like she did in Lagos. Many things we can’t do abroad, we do back home.”

Sarah Martins made headlines earlier this month after she was arrested in Lagos for cooking on the road — a move she claimed was part of her outreach to feed the needy. The incident divided opinions, with some praising her intentions and others criticising her for obstructing traffic and violating public safety rules.
