Israel DMW’s ex-wife, Sheila Courage, has shared a heartfelt message on how people should approach the sensitive decision of leaving a marriage.
In a recent post, Sheila emphasized that walking away from a marriage is not a decision to be made lightly. According to her, it should only come after seeking divine direction and engaging in honest communication with one’s partner.
She revealed that many people often reach out to her for validation to end their marriages simply because she left hers, but she made it clear that she would never encourage or advise anyone to do so.
“I still believe in love and in the institution of marriage. Please don’t make life-changing decisions because of someone else’s story. Seek God first,” she wrote.
Sheila, who married Israel Afeare, popularly known as Israel DMW, Davido’s logistics manager, in 2022, made headlines when their marriage ended less than a year later.
Their separation became a topic of public debate after both parties shared different sides of what went wrong in the union.
Despite the controversy surrounding her breakup, Sheila maintained that her faith in love remains unshaken. She urged women to trust God’s guidance rather than public opinion when navigating marital challenges.
“Don’t make emotional decisions or act based on social media pressure. Only God can give you clarity,” she added.
