Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Elizabeth Oloruntola, popularly known as Zita, has revealed that she recently reconciled with her parents after years of being estranged.
Fans will recall that during the premiere of the reality show, Zita disclosed that she had run away from home and that her parents were unaware of her participation in the competition.
However, during a recent livestream session, the reality TV star shared that she had finally reconnected with her family — and that her parents are now proud of her achievements.
“I met with my parents recently and they were very proud of me. My dad was boasting to his staff that his child is now a celebrity. They were so proud that I won Head of House twice,” Zita revealed.
She added that the reunion was emotional and heartwarming, saying:
“Reuniting with my family was fun. We were just chilling and gisting. My mum also forgave my past rebellion.”
Zita assured her fans that she would continue to share updates as her relationship with her family strengthens and they continue rebuilding their bond.
