Nigerian rapper Temidayo Omoniyi, popularly known as Zlatan Ibile, has disclosed that he stopped smoking four years ago.
The Zanku hitmaker made the revelation during an interactive session with fans on Snapchat.
Responding to a fan who asked if he still smokes, Zlatan replied:
“A day can’t pass without someone asking me this question. Yes, I quit smoking 4 years ago. And I have no issues with smokers.”
In recent years, several Nigerian artists have shared similar decisions to quit or reduce smoking, including Don Jazzy, Peruzzi, Tekno, and Kizz Daniel.
Davido also announced in 2018 that he planned to quit smoking soon, citing Don Jazzy’s success story as his motivation.
