Former Big Brother Naija housemate Adekunle Olopade has come forward with shocking claims that he was detained by police officers for eight hours.
The reality TV star, who gained fame during the Level Up season of the show, recounted the harrowing experience on his Snapchat page, alleging that he was manhandled, handcuffed, and unlawfully held against his will.
According to Adekunle, the ordeal was a near-death experience that he believes was only prevented by what he described as divine intervention.
“I was detained for eight hours, handcuffed, and treated unfairly. I could have died if not for divine intervention,” he wrote on Snapchat.
As of the time of this report, the Nigeria Police Force has not issued an official statement regarding Adekunle’s allegations.
