Controversial influencer Saidaboj has reignited online debates about love, money, and marriage following her comments on actress Regina Daniels’ ongoing marital drama with her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
In a video shared on Instagram, Saidaboj urged women not to use Regina Daniels’ experience as a reason to avoid wealthy men, reiterating her stance that financial stability should remain a priority in marriage.
“Regina Daniels’ case is not an excuse for you to marry a poor man. A poor man’s wickedness is even more painful — when you divorce, you won’t leave with anything,” she said.
Saidaboj argued that poverty does not guarantee kindness or loyalty, adding that “a wicked man is a wicked man, whether poor or rich.”
She also responded to critics who accused her of promoting materialism, insisting that financial comfort brings peace and stability.
“If you are poor, go and work for your money. Don’t use Regina as an excuse,” she added.
Her remarks quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions. While some agreed that wealth and character are separate issues, others faulted her for reducing marriage to financial considerations.
