Foluke Daramola (born on February 15, 1978, 47 years old) is from Ekiti state, Nigeria, and was brought up in a middle-class Christian home by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daramola.

She showed early talent for drama and public speaking, winning several school competitions. She gained admission to Obafemi Awolowo University to study Theatre Arts, but left after two years when acting opportunities became too demanding to combine with academics.
Career
Foluke started acting in Nollywood back in ’98 through Ajina Oro, then quickly gained attention, landing parts in Omo Odo by 2000, Afonja two years later, and in the hit Omo Ghetto movies.

She’s known for playing deep, influential roles across Yoruba-language and English-language flicks, and she’s appeared in more than 150 productions so far.
She put out movies like Iya Alalake, Omo Bishop, and also Cobweb. Back in 2013, she started PARAA – Passion Against Rape and Abuse in Africa – which has helped many survivors while shaping talks around sexual violence.
