Nigerian music producer and Mavin Records CEO, Michael Collins Ajereh, widely known as Don Jazzy, has opened up once again about why he cannot reunite with his former wife, Michelle Jackson.
Don Jazzy first disclosed the story of his marriage in April 2021, explaining that their separation stemmed largely from his deep focus on building his music career. According to him, the marriage collapsed just two years after it began because his ambition created tension in the relationship.
During a recent conversation with fans on X, one user encouraged the 42-year-old to consider getting back together with his ex-wife since he remains single. The fan wrote, “Make una reconcile again naa,” prompting him to clarify the situation.
He responded, “She don remarry.”
The music mogul has consistently maintained that he is not planning to remarry anytime soon, noting that his career demands could once again lead to conflict in a romantic relationship.
Even though he is currently not married, Don Jazzy stressed that he feels content and fulfilled with the life he has built—especially through his role in discovering and mentoring some of Afrobeats’ most successful talents, such as Wande Coal, Tiwa Savage, Reekado Banks, Rema, and Ayra Starr.
