Nollywood actress Hadiza Abubakar has shared how her outlook on love and marriage has evolved with age, revealing that she now values character and peace of mind over physical appearance.
In an interview on Biola Adebayo Ent TV, Abubakar explained that turning 30 brought a new sense of clarity about relationships.
“I want to be married because I’m a homely girl, but a lot of people might not know that,” she said. “I want a sweet and peaceful life. I’m over 30 years of age, and I’ve grown past the time when I wanted to date a tall, handsome man. Some of the qualities I used to look for in a tall man can be found in a short man.”
The actress noted that maturity has shifted her priorities from looks to emotional compatibility, emphasizing that true happiness in marriage comes from understanding, not appearances.
