Although Mia Thornton has exited The Real Housewives of Potomac, the drama in her personal life appears far from over. The former reality television star was arrested earlier today, November 19, at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on allegations of grand larceny.
According to reports from TMZ, Thornton was taken into custody upon arrival at the airport and subsequently booked into the Fulton County Jail. She is accused of stealing furniture valued at more than $11,000 from a furnished condo she had been occupying.
Investigators allege that Mia Thornton moved out of the property in October, taking several items—including furniture and a television—without authorization. The homeowner later filed a police report, claiming that she vacated the residence “in the middle of the night.”
Police body camera footage reportedly captured the moment Mia Thornton was escorted into the station following her arrest.
This development follows closely on the heels of the arrest of current RHOP cast member Wendy Osefo, who is facing multiple fraud-related charges, adding yet another layer of controversy to the franchise and its stars.
