Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has shared new photos of herself without makeup or filters, firing back at a troll who called her “ugly.”
The actress took to social media to post her bare face, stating that although she chose to go natural for the day, she will continue to use filters whenever she pleases. She added that anyone who has a problem with it should “call the police.”
Nkechi wrote:
“Today I am posting my face without a filter or even make-up.
But moving forward, nothing go ever stop me from using my filter. One useless man literally called me UGLY.
It’s not your fault sha, but I ask — how does the way I choose to appear on my own page affect your problem?
I Dey do hook up? Any of my customers complain to you? Or you think I don’t go out and people don’t see me?
Una go really dey alright for this app. Like I said, nothing in this life will make me, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, stop using filters.
If e pain una too much, go call police to come arrest me.

This isn’t the first time the actress has clashed with critics online.
She previously slammed a troll who attempted to marriage-shame her, questioning why people assume public figures are free targets for insults. Nkechi reminded them that she is human and deserves respect.
The Yoruba movie star also reacted strongly to someone who posted an unflattering gym photo of her. She maintained that no one can disgrace “a woman clothed with so much grace” and said she had handed the person over to God for judgment.
In a later post, Nkechi Blessing expressed pride in how far she has come, encouraging herself to “keep going” as she remains a work in progress.
Amid constant trolling, she recently remembered her late mother, noting how difficult it is not having her around to offer comfort whenever she trends for the wrong reasons. She prayed for her mother to continue watching over her.
Earlier this year, the actress broke down in tears on social media, accusing a woman of trying to tarnish her brand. She stressed that she is human and does not rely on sleeping with men for income.
In March, Nkechi publicly apologised to anyone she may have hurt, admitting that her past controversial lifestyle cost her several endorsement deals. She said she now hopes to live peacefully and rebuild her image.
