Nigerian politician and human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has levelled a serious allegation against Senator Ned Nwoko amid the ongoing marital crisis involving actress Regina Daniels.
In a statement shared on his social media page, Sowore claimed he uncovered information indicating that operatives linked to Delta State had allegedly intercepted Regina Daniels’ phone calls and were planning to leak her private body images to the public.
According to him, the controversy surrounding Ned Nwoko extends far beyond the recent unlawful detention of Regina Daniels’ brother, Samuel Ojeogwu, popularly known as Sammy West.
Sowore described the situation as part of a broader and disturbing pattern involving the exploitation of underage girls across borders and the misuse of state power by influential individuals.
He stated:
“The outcry surrounding Senator @nednwokoforsenate goes far beyond the unlawful detention of his now-estranged wife @regina.daniels’ brother, Samuel Ojeogwu ‘Sammy West’. What we are witnessing is part of a larger, troubling pattern involving the exploitation of underage girls across borders and the misuse of state power.
“In this video, I break down the long-standing concerns about human rights violations, intimidation, and the questionable role of certain operatives within the now-disgraced @nigeriapoliceforce, who have repeatedly been accused of acting as private enforcers for this particular influential individual, @official_apcnigeria Senator @nednwokoforsenate.”
As of the time of filing this report, Senator Ned Nwoko has not publicly responded to Sowore’s allegations.
