Veteran broadcaster and actor Patrick Doyle has spoken warmly about his ex-wife, actress Ireti Doyle, expressing pride in how far she has come while carrying the name.
In a recent conversation reflecting on their relationship, Patrick addressed questions about Ireti’s progress in the entertainment industry. Creebhils recalls that Ireti announced her divorce from the actor in January 2023, though the reason for the split was not disclosed.
During his appearance on ‘Wake Up Nigeria’, Patrick said he prefers to remain silent rather than speak negatively about his former partner. When asked how Ireti is doing in the industry, he shared supportive sentiments, stating:
“I’m happy for her that the Doyle name has opened doors for her. And so far hasn’t disgraced the name.
“She’s doing pretty well, and I am proud of her achievements in the industry”.
His remarks reflect a tone of admiration and respect, underscoring the positive regard he still holds for Ireti despite their separation.
