Sophia Momodu, the mother of singer Davido’s first child, has shared her concerns about Lagos men after receiving an intense romantic message from a potential suitor.
Taking to her Snapchat page, the fashion entrepreneur posted the message sent to her by a man she had only met a few hours earlier. The admirer wrote:
“My Sophia, you have ruined me by exposing me to the heaven of you. I constantly want to be in your presence. Are you busy today?”
Reacting to the message, Sophia said it is encounters like this that make her tell her friends she is “scared of Lagos men.” She questioned how someone could send such a dramatic message so soon after meeting.
She described the message as “love bombing to Pro Max.”
Her response read:
“I always tell my friends I’m scared of Lagos men, cos sending this to someone you just met a few hours ago is wild.
My Sophia nke? As how?? It’s giving love bombing Pro Max. No thanks.”
Sophia Momodu, who shares a daughter, Imade Adeleke, with Davido, has often been vocal about maintaining her boundaries and prioritizing her peace.
