Beyoncé has emerged as the biggest solo touring act of 2025, topping Billboard’s year-end touring report with her Cowboy Carter tour finishing as the highest-grossing solo tour of the year.
The tour generated an impressive $407.6 million from 32 shows, attracting a total of 1.6 million fans. Organised in a residency-style format across nine cities, Billboard also confirmed that Cowboy Carter is now the highest-grossing country tour in history.
The achievement marks another major milestone for the global superstar, placing her among a select group of artists with multiple tours surpassing the $400 million mark. Beyoncé also made history as the first American artist to accomplish this feat twice.
Earlier in the year, the singer wrapped up a five-night run at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, earning over $50 million from 217,000 ticket sales. Rolling Stone described the Los Angeles shows as the “biggest reported single-venue engagement” of the year.
That stadium run also ranks as the fifth-highest grossing tour stop in Boxscore history, behind only U2’s Sphere residency in Las Vegas, Harry Styles’ Madison Square Garden shows in 2022, and Take That’s Wembley Stadium run in 2011. It additionally stands as the highest-grossing single-venue engagement ever by a female artist.
Beyoncé launched the tour on April 28 and returned to the venue on May 1, 4, 7, and 9, earning an average of $11.1 million per night with more than 43,000 fans attending each show.
Meanwhile, The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn tour grossed $336.7 million, while Coldplay finished 2025 as the overall top-grossing touring act. According to Billboard Boxscore, the band’s Music of the Spheres World Tour pulled in $464.9 million to lead all tours for the year.
