Early Life and Education
Chinenye Ulaegbu (born May 25, 1994, 31 years old) is from Oji River in Enugu State. She was raised in a very nice Christian Igbo family by her parents, Mr and Mrs Ulaegbu, together with her brothers.

She grew up exposed to different cultures and, as a result, has learned Hausa fluently. Chinenye went to Government Science Secondary School, Wamba, Nasarawa State.
Later, she enrolled in a degree program in Banking and Finance at the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu, and still found time to nurture her creative talents.
Career
Chinenye Ulaegbu’s professional acting career began on the school drama stage, and in 2016, she made her film debut in Onuma and other similar works. She returned to the industry with full capacity and a significant role in A Call from the Past after a short break for her studies in 2018.

As a versatile actress, Chinenye has portrayed a range of characters. She has been part of more than 40 productions, including Broken But Whole (2021), Cry Me Awake (2024) – a movie she conceptualized, wrote, and produced, thus, she has also been nominated for various awards in different categories; Ruthless (2024), The Pregnant Virgin, and collaboration with stars like Pete Edochie, Maurice Sam, and Chinenye Nnebe.

Besides performing, she trained at Del-York Creative Academy and has directed projects like Early Marriage, which raises awareness of solved issues.
As the brain behind Dioda Fitness and Dioda Fashion House, Chinenye not only promotes health but also fashion, and has therefore won worldwide awards, including Best Actress at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival.
