The family of Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola has officially confirmed her death, announcing that she passed away on Saturday at the age of 49.
In a statement signed by Adegboyega Adebayo on behalf of the family, they expressed deep sorrow over her passing and paid tribute to her life and career.
“With heavy hearts and total submission to the will of God, we announce the passing of our beloved sister, mother, and aunt, Princess Allwell Ademola, who departed this life on Saturday, the 27th day of December, 2025, at the age of 49,” the statement read.
The family described the late actress as a gifted and committed creative whose contributions left a lasting impact on the entertainment industry.
“Princess Allwell Ademola was a passionate and talented creative. From childhood until her passing, she distinguished herself as a thespian, actor, singer, and filmmaker, touching many lives through her art, talent, and unwavering dedication to the creative industry,” they said.
They also expressed gratitude to colleagues, friends, and well-wishers for the support received since her passing.
“The Ademola family sincerely appreciates the overwhelming love, prayers, and messages of condolence from her colleagues, friends, and well-wishers across the world during this difficult time. Your support has been a great source of strength to us,” the statement added.
The family noted that details of her burial arrangements would be communicated at a later date.
