Actress Anita Joseph has reacted to the growing rumours surrounding her marriage to MC Fish (Fisayo Olagunju), saying she will share her story only when she is ready.
The Nollywood star addressed the speculation on Monday through a heartfelt Instagram post, where she expressed gratitude to everyone who has shown concern over the past few weeks.
“And the Lord did not forsake me. I want to thank everyone who have shown me love one way or the other. Thank you, God will not leave you. Mother Hen is doing well. I will tell my story when I deem fit. Shallom!” she wrote.
Her post comes amid ongoing reports suggesting that her marriage may be facing serious challenges. Social media chatter intensified after claims surfaced that MC Fish allegedly joined the Freemason fraternity, with some online users further alleging that he had moved on with another woman.
Anita has not confirmed or denied the rumours, choosing instead to maintain silence and hinting that she will speak on her own terms.
This marks a significant shift from earlier moments when the couple appeared united. Just months ago, they celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary with emotional tributes, writing:
“Happy four years’ anniversary to the OLAGUNJUs. Even as they say we won’t last for two months. Even the ones who bet say them no fit last. Say na film we dey act. Na so we still dey act, the film dey carry go.”
Anita also previously defended her decision to openly celebrate her husband on social media, dismissing claims that visibility could harm a relationship.
“Posting your partner on social media cannot and will not break your marriage or relationship. What will break will break and what will spoil will spoil, whether you show it off on social media or not,” she said at the time.
For now, neither Anita nor MC Fish has issued a clear statement confirming a separation, leaving fans waiting for clarification while the actress maintains that she will share her truth when the time feels right.
