Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has reacted to the emotional revelations made by Debrakin, the ex-girlfriend of hypeman and singer Segun Johnson.
Debrakin recently went viral after sharing her painful experience, alleging that she relocated from the UK to Nigeria at his request so they could build a future together—only for the relationship to end abruptly after she discovered he was cheating.
According to her, the breakup came via a voice note, leaving her shocked and heartbroken after years of commitment.
In a follow-up video, Debrakin explained that she shared her story not for sympathy but for closure, admitting the experience deeply hurt, especially as there was no proper conversation leading up to the separation.
She also claimed that Segun Johnson did not apologise even after she confronted him about the alleged infidelity.
Reacting in the comment section of a blog post, Anita Joseph expressed disbelief at the length of the relationship, particularly given how it ended.
“13 years aramashiogri mpu na aruruala,” she wrote, lamenting what she described as years of struggle and disappointment.
She went on to promote her song Do Not Forsake Me, while adding a reflective note:
“Uwa bu uwa Chukwu, Shallom.”
